Veeby is more than a voice—she’s a story. Born in Yaoundé, Cameroon, she grew up immersed in African rhythms before moving to Montreal, where her roots blended with new influences. On stage, she embodies the meeting of cultures: vibrant Afro-soul, touches of RnB and jazz, and an energy that transcends borders.
Her debut album, The Journey (2012), tells the story of inner travel—a quest for identity and freedom. In 2021, she returned with Zandj, a bold project celebrating African traditions and contemporary urban sounds. Each track is an invitation to feel, to connect, to journey.
Veeby has performed worldwide. Between 2019 and 2024, she graced major stages and festivals:
2019: Nuits d’Afrique, Sound of Soul (Canada), Lili Women Festival & Afropolitan Nomade (Côte d’Ivoire), Festival Latinidades (Brazil), African Music Forum (DRC), Journées Musicales de Carthage (Tunisia).
2022: MASA (Côte d’Ivoire), Afropolitan Nomade (Cameroon), Montreal International Jazz Festival, Nuits d’Afrique (Canada), Afrolatinidades (Brazil).
2023-2024: Jazz Plaza (Cuba), Canadian Cultural Center (France), Pointe-Noire en Scène (Congo), Africa Oye (UK), Marahaba Festival (Burundi), Festival Mondial des Femmes (Canada), Festival Latinidades (Brazil), and multiple cultural venues across Quebec.

Veeby n’est pas seulement une voix, c’est une histoire. Née à Yaoundé, elle a grandi au rythme des sonorités africaines avant de poser ses valises à Montréal, où ses racines se sont mêlées à de nouvelles influences. Sur scène, elle incarne la rencontre des cultures : une afro-soul vibrante, des accents RnB et jazz, et une énergie qui traverse les frontières.
Son premier album, The Journey (2012), raconte ce chemin intérieur, cette quête d’identité et de liberté. En 2021, elle revient avec Zandj, un projet audacieux qui célèbre la richesse des traditions africaines et les sons urbains contemporains. Chaque titre est une invitation à voyager, à ressentir, à se reconnecter.
